Bolton Joins Industry Plastic Packaging Initiative
Our Home & Personal Care Business Unit recently voluntarily joined the International Association of Soaps, Detergents and Cleaning Products (A.I.S.E.) initiative to promote the use of recycled plastics in packaging.
The International Association of Soaps, Detergents and Cleaning Products (A.I.S.E.) initiative to promote the use of recycled plastic in packaging includes ambitious targets to be reached by 2025. It also requires a robust commitment to ensure that plastic packaging is designed and manufactured using more sustainable materials. A.I.S.E. will monitor the progress of the initiative over the coming years, while encouraging the exchange of best practices and collaboration throughout the value chain, as well as providing guidance to the industry as a whole. Our participation in the programme is yet further evidence of our commitment to developing more sustainable products.
The commitments companies are required to adopt in order to join the initiative are perfectly aligned with the direction we are following.
